At Odds

She makes lists
pros and cons
He makes points
She makes counterpoints
The two are at an impasse
Time is running out
A decision must be made

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My husband and I need to make a choice when it comes to our children's education for the next school year. Do we send them to the new K-8 Gifted Center or provide an alternative education? There are so many things to consider. This decision weighs heavy on my mind.
I guess when I did the same thing 7 years ago, my Pro list was longer than the cons. You know....I am THE most undecisive person out there, and it took me years before I finally made up my mind about their education. For me, choosing to homeschool became very clear, the right choice, but I know for others....sometimes the sky is too cloudy......I'll continue to pray for the sun to shine and you guys to make the 'right' decision. : )
We're going through the same thing here. We only have one child who is eligible to attend so our issue is, do we hope to get him into his sister's school next year, or continue to keep them separate? When I found out there was no busing, that was a big x in the "con" column for us...
Hard, hard choices.
I have no words of wisdom, because I came from a small town where there weren't choices when I was growing up!
PS. Sorry I've been so absent! I've fallen behind on everyone's blogs!
On one hand, you are lucky you have the choice.
do the kids have any words of wisdom or input or are you keeping them out of it?
Good luck...
In the end, draw straws.
